History

"A group of visionary professionals dedicated to developing the economy in South Carolina, organized in 1965 and founded the South Carolina Industrial (now Economic) Developers' Association. Envisioning a bright future for South Carolina, this proactive group came together determined to be a force of positive influence on economic development in our state. As South Carolina's economy continues to prosper, SCEDA members remain at the center of development activity, supporting each other for the benefit of all South Carolinians."
